Horizontal Accumulators
Horizontal Accumulators are mostly placed over production line as a second stage in order to save from production space. For operators to be able to guide the cable and to control unit, there is a stairway and walking area assembled on the unit. By this way, unit can be easily accessed by operators when necessary. Standard horizontal accumulators are used for cable diameters up to 20 mm. Net accumulation length can be selected up to 200 meters for standard units. For larger diameters and longer accumulation lengths, you can contact us for availability.
Accumulators are mostly used for changing reels of take-ups or pay-off units without stopping or slowing down.On the unit there are two sets of pulleys: one set fixed and one set moving. With the movement of movable pulleys, unit is able to wind cable on or to unwind back to the line.
Accumulators are also able to control tension of cable and speed of takeup/payoff units as dancers. As a result, in case accumulator unit is used on the line, there is no need to use and additional dancer unit for speed or tension control.

Vertical Accumulators
Vertical Accumulators need a very small ground area for assembling but need height in the building. Standard vertical accumulators up to 8 meters of heights are produced. Standard vertical accumulators can be produced up to 150 meters of net accumulation length. Units are designed to use cable diameters up to 20 mm.
